Momiji corridor

The main place of the Fuji-Kawaguchiko Autumn Leaves Festival. The corridor along the Nashigawa River is lit up until 10pm at night.

The venue is really busy on weekends and Momiji corridor is very crowded. It is not a situation to take a picture calmly. Weekday daytime is relatively uncrowded, so it is better to visit on weekdays if possible. In order to take a picture of Mt.Fuji with a good composition, it is better to go out to the side of the Momiji corridor and take a picture from a little behind.

Momiji tunnel

A must-visit place in Kawaguchiko in autumn. Let’s take a popular photograph often seen on tourist posters. However, it is not a “tunnel” that can be imagined from the name of “Momiji Tunnel”. Please visit focusing on seeking the beauty of the composition with Mt.Fuji.

There are parking lots for about 10 cars, but you can hardly park on weekends during the peak season. Also, be careful about traffic because the road is narrow and the visibility is partially poor. Many people who take pictures frequently cross the road. So both drivers and people taking pictures should be careful about each other.

Near the Rusugaiwa rock

The large Japanese Momiji tree protruding from the road is very well balanced with Mt.Fuji. Although it is close to the “Momiji Tunnel”, this spot may actually have a more beautiful composition than the “Momiji Tunnel”.

However, it is difficult to take a picture from the best place because there are only narrow roads and many people gather. You can only use the parking lot near the Momiji tunnel. There are lots of street parking, but it is very dangerous because the road is very narrow.
