Entsuji temple
It is said that the Entsuji temple was first opened in 1265. And the temple was founded in 1470, then the temple was established in 1492.
In Nov. 1766, there was a big fire that burned most of the villages around here. Because of the fire, the temple was also burnt except for the treasure room. The current Kuri(temple living room) was rebuilt in 1771 and the main hall was rebuilt in 1786. This Kuri and main hall are designated as tangible cultural properties of Fujikawaguchiko-machi.
The buddhist memorial service for water accidents in Lake Kawaguchiko
Every year, during the Lake Kawaguchiko Festival (August 4), the memorial service for the spirits of the water accident in Lake Kawaguchiko.
