Appearance of Biodivercity Center

The Biodiversity Center is a facility that conducts research on plants and animals across the country Japan that are governed by the Ministry of the Environment.
They conduct “Basic research on natural environment conservation" to investigate the realities of land, rivers, and oceans in Japan. And, are doing the “Monitoring sites 1000(Jp) " which investigates the change of the environment for more than 100 years in the survey points of 1000 places nationwide.

In the center, the exhibition room and the library etc. are opened for the purpose of understanding “Biodiversity". There are about 65,000 specimens of animals, and some of them can actually be seen and touched in the exhibition room.
