Fuji Museum
It is the oldest Museum (First of Yamanashi-ken official recognition) in Yamanashi-ken, was established in 1954. The house of about 300 years ago wealthy farmer which was in the shore of Lake Kawaguchiko has been restored. Because the lake side had few tourist facilities at the time of the establishment, it was the most popular tourist attraction at these outskirts.
The folkcraft articles which were used for a long time around Lake Kawaguchiko and the tools that can perceive the industry are displayed in the hall. In addition, there are documents about Mt. Fuji faith, and lava and volcanic bombs by the eruption of Mt. Fuji are displayed.
It is the museum where there is not at all the gaudiness, but very interesting things such as culture or the living environment which forerunner of Lake Kawaguchiko before becoming the big sightseeing spot made, are displayed.
The main display items are “Japanese hearth Iroro" “Industry" “Eruption “Unearthed article" “Old Japanese everyday tools" “Old dugout canoe" “Faith to Mt.Fuji".
Since March, 2015, the long-term closure for a renewal move.

Kappa Jizo
The food stockpile warehouse for the emergency that there was in Doshi-mura from the Edo period was moved, and then the kappa Jizo has been enshrined in this.
