Kawaguchiko Ohashi bridge
On a clear day, when you reach the Kawaguchiko Ohashi Bridge from the direction of Kofu, you can see a huge Mt.Fuji in front of you. There is the sidewalk, so it is most suitable for a walk. It is a very comfortable view spot of Mt.Fuji, overlooking Lake Kawaguchiko.
However, please be careful enough so that you don’t come out to the roadway.
The construction of Kawaguchiko Ohashi Bridge began in October, 1968 for the purpose of lakeside traffic jam elimination and was completed in March, 1971. The use of the bridge was charged until June, 2005. A tollgate was installed in the entrance of the south side. The width of the place where the toll gate was located is still unchanged.
