Hakusan shrine

Zembei Ishikawa who lived in this neighborhood in 1644 transferred a divided divine spirit from Shirayama-Hime shrine in Ichinomiya of Kaga and enshrined in the current place, and he became the chief priest of this shrine. The hall of worship was rebuilt in 1914. There are the huge cedars more than 300 years old in the precincts.

Under the Kohai (pent roof built atop the stairs), there is the sculpture of Dragon and Komainu (the pair of guardian dogs). It was carved by the Fujiemon Fukuda who engaged in the sculpture of “the Ramma of Kuri at the Myohoji Temple" which is the Important cultural property of Fujikawaguchiko-machi.
