Oyashikidai shrine

Oyashikidai shrine

In 1440, Owari Kobayashi who was a feudal lord of Funatsu transferred “Tenshoko Daijin" as a God of the house in his residence. And he built a main shrine in 1558.

There were the some dozen pines in this residence, called “Oyashikino Matsu", and those were the symbolic scenery of the shore of Lake Kawaguchiko. However, the pines became weak since a flood of 1907 year by year, and most of them have become withered in about 1955. There are several pines now, scenery remembering those days is slightly left.
