Ubuyagasaki is famous for cherry blossoms in Lake Kawaguchiko. However, there are many spots in the around Lake Kawaguchiko that can take a picture of cherry blossoms and Mt. Fuji in a more balanced and beautiful.
Even if you don’t see Mt. Fuji, there are a lot of famous cherry blossoms in the local area, so please stop by if you come close. Since Lake Kawaguchiko is at the height of the altitude 830m, it becomes the flowering of the cherry blossoms somewhat late than the Tokyo city. The best is from middle to late of April.

Fujikawaguchiko Cherry Blossoms Festival 
The view of the Cherry blossoms is 1km along the lakeside walking trail. It is scenery which becomes a picture no matter where it cuts. Of course, the composition with Mt. Fuji is also put everywhere. It would be better if there were no tents lined up along the river..
Because it is one of the biggest events of Lake Kawaguchiko, tourists will be very much. The weekend is very crowded, so it is wise to avoid it if possible.

It is a place where the cherry blossoms and Lake Kawaguchiko can be neatly put in. The large cherry blossoms are lined up along the road, so you can find your favorite composition from various angles.
There is no dedicated parking, but there are some parking spaces on the road along the lakeside from the front of the Nagasaki tunnel. There is a busy time when the weather is good, but you can enjoy the shooting on average slowly.

FUJI-VIEW HOTEL
As the hotel name, you can see Mt. Fuji beautifully. There are about 300 cherry blossoms in the vast garden, and you can enjoy stunning cherry blossoms in various places on the hotel grounds.
From the front of the hotel you will find the street with the backdrop of Mt.Fuji, and the Weeping cherry blossoms, Someiyoshino are spectacular.

Yagisaki park
The Herb Festival is held in the Yagisaki park and is well known for its lavender fields.
However, we do not hear the name as the recommendation of the Cherry blossoms at all.
It is bloom by the lakeside and the stroll road in the park splendidly. The promenade in the park is a great way to spend a fascinating time. It is difficult to take a picture of Mt. Fuji and cherry blossoms together.

Because it is on the outskirts of the west of Lake Kawaguchiko, it might not go to this place easily. When heading to the West Lake from Kawaguchiko, because it is a place to pass absolutely, please stop by at that time for a moment.
Most people cycling around the lake will stop at this cherry blossom spot.

Fuji Omuro Sengen shrine
Cherry Blossom Tunnel along Omotesando following the Otorii of Fuji Omuro Sengen Shrine, and it is the beautiful cherry trees that continue to the precincts of the Satomiya.

The temple is adjacent to the Fuji Omuro Sengen Shrine. There are cherry trees on both sides of the approach, and the Cherry Blossom Tunnel is splendid. There is a large weeping cherry tree in the precincts, and you can see dark pink and pale pink.

Oishi Nichigetsu shrine
The contrast between the Vermilion gate and the cherry blossoms is very beautiful. It is very well known as the shrine with splendid cherry blossoms in the local area. In addition, when the petals began to fall, the road to the main shrine was covered with a pale pink cherry blossoms, and creat wonderful scenes.

Shikkogo Park is known as the park where the Yabusame Festival takes place on 29 April every year. There are cherry trees from the park square to the parking lot, about 300m. Mt.Fuji can be taken from the cove side that protrudes from the park to the lake, but the composition with the cherry blossoms is severe.
When cherry blossoms are late, this Yabusame festival overlap just in the cherry blossom season. In addition, if the weather is overlap, you can see the Yabusame Festival where the horse is galloping in the shower of cherry blossoms.

Oishi Sengen shrine
There are only two cherry trees on both sides of the Torii, but the with gracefully‐shaped branches is very well balanced and creates a splendid landscape.

In front of the Nagasaki tunnel, it is a beautiful place to compose the hydrangea and Mt.Fuji along the road, but the cherry trees lined up on the lakeside are also beautiful. You can take better pictures from the lakeside than from the road.

Bambagawa river in Oishi
Along the Bambagawa River, which is a little further away from Oishi Park, there are about ten cherry trees lined up neatly. Because it is a place which does not enter the view from the road, if you do not aim here, you pass by. Most people enjoy the scenery by chance in the middle of cycling.
Mt.Fuji is not the “recommended" state to be able to shoot somehow.. However, when you find the splendid cherry trees in a side street from the Lakeside Road, the feeling of great lucky is very high spot.

Myohoji temple
Cherry blossoms bloom in the precincts, and the main hall is brightly colored. Myohoji temple is also derived from the “Rokkakudo" on the Lake Kawaguchiko, and there are three cultural properties in the precinct. It is near the Yagisaki Park.

Cherry blossoms bloom neatly in the slope of the mountain which climbed a little from the lake and along the approach of the Yama shrine. It is not the place for tourists to visit, but it will arrive ten minutes from the lake. Why not take a stroll in the scenery of Lake Kawaguchiko, a little bit different?

The roadside of Koumi Park about 200m, with cherry trees lined up. The contrast between the green grass in the Park Square is also beautiful and is a great place to Hanami.

The Oishi park where you can enjoy colorful flowers throughout the year, but there are only a few cherry trees in the parking lot and the Flower road. The Someiyoshino is only in the parking lot, and the wild cherry trees near the flower road are not maintained very much.
The Cherry trees in the parking lot with Mt.Fuji are a fairly good composition. It is a better without a car, but it is difficult during the season.

It is the Ubuyagasaki to be the first place recommended if it is originally, but the gracefully‐shaped branches of the cherry tree is not good recently, and the range of trees other than cherry tree extends. Therefore, the spot of the shooting becomes very limited. And since the overseas guidebook has been introduced as one of the most famous cherry blossoms, it is a recent trend that is particularly crowded with tourists from overseas.
We want to appeal to the town to regain beautiful scenery including the restoration of the cherry trees and the maintenance because it is a scenic place of the Lake Kawaguchiko from old times.
