Rinsaku park

It is the small park which you pass when you do not see it carefully. You can take a walk through an alley to Lake Kawaguchiko, and use a restroom.

This park and land is due to donation of Rinsaku Kajiwara born in this district Funatsu. Therefore the park named his name.

Mr. Rinsaku Kajiwara loved his Kawaguchiko-machi very much and, in hope of culture and the prosperity of the town, expended private funds on environmental maintenance, education, improvement of the welfare.
In 1986, he became an honorary citizen first in Kawaguchiko-machi.

Gensen

This bronze statue is the last work of great master Seibo Kitamura of Japan sculpture.
He visited here at 101-year-old and was touched in scenery and the mysterious lake and he took time of two years and completed it.
