Komitake shrine [Top of Tenjoyama Mountain]

In 1668, it was separately enshrined from the Fujisan-Komitake shrine at the fifth station of Mt.Fuji and built there. It is a location with Mt. Fuji in front.

How to get there

Go on Tenjoyama park by a ropeway and go to the top of the Tenjoyama mountain from there. Walk about 15 minutes on the mountain path from the signboard of “To Mitsutoge” in the back of Tenjoyama Park. There is a branch road to Mitsutoge on the way, so please be careful not to be wrong.

About wild animals

You walk on a mountain path with few people coming and going. You may see a wild monkey, but please never give any foods. And, the witness of the bear are also reported very rarely.
